The Maison is proud to return as Title Partner of the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup in Barcelona, from August 29th until October 19th, 2024. In a continuation of a remarkable journey that began more than 40 years ago, Louis Vuitton collaborated with the America's Cup for the first time in 1983 and introduced its bespoke Trophy Trunk in 2017 — representing the first-ever sports partnership in the history of the Maison.
Louis Vuitton Cup
Over five weeks, five teams compete in successive editions for this stage first named after the Maison as the event's official sponsor in 1987 — unveiling a new trophy trunk, housing the Louis Vuitton Cup.
America's Cup Match
During the two week competition, the winning Challenger team will face the defending champions from New Zealand. Designed to protect the precious Auld Mug Cup, awarded to the ultimate winner of the 37th America's Cup Barcelona, the Maison reveals a second trophy trunk for the event.
Congratulations to Emirates Team New Zealand for winning the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup Barcelona. To commemorate the sailors for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the sport, Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO, LVMH and Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO, Louis Vuitton awarded the victorious team with the emblematic Auld Mug Cup.
From the iconic Monogram motif to hand-painted blue and red lines representing both "Victory" and "Vuitton", the Trophy Trunks carry a common thread of savoir-faire and esteemed craftsmanship as totems of the Maison's sports history.
